How I Funded My Vegas Trip With Easy Earned Ca$h

I went to Vegas with an extra $195 dollars to spend. Want to know how? Make upwards of $500+ per month just by giving your opinion. Maybe you've heard this before and never actually met or knew someone who was making a killing off easy extra money per month. Sort of like those sweepstakes winners right? I've won those too, but that's another post for another day.  Or maybe you are asking yourself when, where, how? Living in Los Angeles is very expensive, and I've been able to use extra cash to fund trips, pay bills for the month, brunch more often, save money, or simply use it however I choose.

The money I spent in Vegas (food, drink & club activities) was the money I earned by doing ONE focus group. Trust me when I tell you that this is a regular occurrence for me and could be for you too! I was often asked by friends, or friends of friends, how I am able to afford to travel as often or do as much as I do in regards to experiences. This is how; doing focus groups and/or finding a bunch of free or inexpensive things to do. Having a lot of flexibility at work helps too, but that's not the main focus here.

My philosophy is to live out loud (hashtag worthy right?!) and what that really means to me is to experience life in the most colorful way possible. I have been to Vegas millions of times and have never stopped at Seven Magic Mountains. It's about 30 minutes south on the 15 if you're heading back to Los Angeles. Great photo-op for the 'gram or your other social media profiles and the best part? Free.

Market research companies put together focus groups on various topics like technology, mock trials, clothing, beverages, etc. and they select everyday folks like myself, (now you), to ask opinions on these various topics. A note to consider; there are companies that offer $2-$5 dollar rewards by filling out qualifying surveys. I found this to not be worth it, as you will quickly reach survey fatigue (been there, done that), but if you are the type that won't turn down any money, be my guest.

Pay attention to incentives that pay $25 and above. The focus group I recently did, I ended up making a total of $320! This particular focus group was in two parts and the original incentive on the first part was $70 and it was on your mobile device! The client decided that the study was a lot more writing intensive and increased the incentive to $195. There was an additional $125 on the second part of the study if selected at a later date.

I'll periodically add to this list of market research panels to join that are tried and true. I've been doing this for about 7 years now so if you have questions, please contact me.  Also, if there is a referral box on these sign ups, don't forget who dropped these gems in your life. Okurrr!

Also, for all you Amazon shoppers,  ShopTracker is an app that rewards users with a $3 Visa e-Gift card for joining! The user must complete the registration form and take a quick survey to see if they qualify - all that's needed to qualify is that users have an Amazon account. Users then must install the app and within the app, login to their Amazon account and sync with their Amazon account. Once the user syncs, they are automatically rewarded with a $3 Visa e-Gift card. Users have the opportunity to sync to their amazon account once a month, giving them the opportunity to earn up to $36 dollars a year! Link below.
