The Best All-Inclusive Resort in Los Cabos: Garza Blanca Resort
If you know anything about me, you know that all it takes is a simple conversation of any destination to prompt me to say, “I’m in!” and to begin looking up flights to buy. That’s exactly what happened with this trip to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. This trip took place in March of 2021 and I know what you are probably thinking. Girl it’s November! I know, trust me I do. I am the worst at churning out content upon return and this isn’t the worst of it. I have content from 2017 waiting to see daylight. I am trying my best to be better and put it out so bare with me. I am here to tell you the truth. Travel content can be overwhelming and less fun than actually enjoying the vacation, plus I am not a fan of editing anything. It’s quite literally the bane of my existence however; I am a perfectionist so that is such an unfortunate combination but I digress.
This was my second international trip out of the country since Covid hit. My first trip was back in September of 2020 to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. These two trips do have a lot in common as they were both inclusive resort style vacations. Typically I am not a resort kind of traveler. I usually like to get out and about and explore the city/country and culture, however Covid had me moving more carefully. I had been to Cabo pre-pandemic so this trip was more about rest, relaxation and bad bish vibes. Sometimes vacations don’t need to activity heavy but I will offer up some activities you can do while in Los Cabos, Mexico. During our stay, the resort wasn’t crowded at all. We know it’s because not many people were traveling at that time. We did meet these two guys who were so funny. Naturally we had a mini photo-shoot with him. What can we say? It’s the black girl magic!

My girlfriend and I stayed at Garza Blanca Los Cabos Resort and the reason I picked this hotel is quite simple. I stayed at the same resort in Puerto Vallarta and baby if it isn’t broke don’t fix it. We were greeted with champagne upon arrival and towels to cleanse our hands. Say what? I am always that one traveler who is going to obnoxiously say, “oooh that’s nice!” whenever I am presented with fancy things. It’s just way more fun that way. I have accepted that no, you can’t take me nowhere ha-ha. The resort is stunning. The adults-only rooftop has amazing views and multiple infinity pools on the ground level. Garza Blanca is known for it’s bright orange tree on the premises. The rooms are to die for! It comes complete with a shower and tub, for you girls, gals, theys, who love a good bubble bath moment. I believe all the suites come with a hammock on the balcony for those who want to get a gorgeous view of the ocean and lie out and smell the fresh ocean breeze. They offer studio style, one and two bedroom suites as well as lofts and penthouse residences. The Spa has a hydrotherapy circuit which I highly recommend. They offer them at each of the Garza Blanca locations along with your other typical spa services. So do indulge! The location has 8 swimming pools that are heated. Trust me, I checked. This location has a ton of private terraces throughout the resort. It truly no wonder this resort was named 2021 Traveler’s Choice Best of the Best by Trip Advisor.

Majority of the food was so delicious. The resort has 3 restaurants; Blanca Blue, Hiroshi, Bocados Steak House. Out of the 3, my least favorite was the steak house. The food didn’t give what it needed but they had an amazing saxophone player that set to tone for the night. There is also a food truck-beach raw bar, a pool snack bar and the rooftop. All restaurants highly recommend reservations. The resort wasn’t very busy though so getting one at any given time wasn’t an issue. The drinks were amazing! I know all inclusive resorts are typically know for watering down drinks but that was not the case here, We met an amazing waiter who gave us the best liquor and maybe that was the catch but as I recall, the drinks were great everywhere we went. I’m sure you heard that resort drinks are watered down but we actually got some good liquor.

Activities The resort offers a few things to do like an electric beach bicycle tour, water volleyball, and a culinary experience 3 days a week (sake tasting, wine tasting and tequila tasting). On this particular trip I didn’t do any extracurricular activities but there are a ton of things I recommend you do in Cabo. You can head into downtown for an authentic tequila tasting tour or go out dancing at the popular spot El Squid Roe. It’s always a vibe with good energy and drinks. Ride ATVs or go horseback riding on the beach as a packaged combo. I did something very similar on past trip to Cabo and you can book it through Expedia or Trip Advisor. Take a glass bottom boat tour to Lover’s Beach and to visit El Arco or you can also rent a yacht for the day to do the same. I’ll include my past trip to Cabo here in case you want to peruse. Please note that at the time of travel (March 2021), the resort offered Covid testing for their hotel guests. It’s free for guests staying 3 nights or longer otherwise it is $30 bucks. It still seems to be the case, however, always check with the resort to make sure. Mexico doesn’t require proof of Covid test upon arrival. You do need a negative Covid test prior to entering the US.
