The Photoshoot That Almost Never Happened: Jonathan & Ralph
I met Jonathan and Ralph the same way you meet most people these days, through social media (Instagram). I actually met Jonathan through the social media platform and met Ralph on location. Jonnie reached out to me after seeing a couple of posted photography on my page and we chatted for a few days or so (maybe longer) about concepts and themes for the shoot. He mentioned that Ralph was also into photography and would also be there to shoot some cool stuff and also sent me concepts to think about.
We decide to shoot and meet up in DTLA at this photography studio. When I pull up. I immediately think...."Ooh chile. The ghetto!" This was a seemingly sketchy part of town with what appeared to be an abandoned building and I was about to turn right around and go home. Not today Satan, not today. However, Jonnie came down to meet me and let me know we were shooting in one of the rented studio spaces. I was being cautious and scary for valid reasons but these two guys are literally the coolest of cucumbers and I loved working with them. They were extremely patient, funny and the overall vibe was just amazing. Talk about jumping out of your comfort zone. Can't wait to collaborate with them again.
All make-up and hair DIY.

Studio Sesh!
I had to improvise because this chick forgot the simplest of things: hair tie, and apparently I can't button up my shirt properly. However, that's what makes these shots unique.
