New Wig, Who Dis?

New wig, who dis?

If you are a woman who likes to change up her look from time to time, wig shopping is a good place to start before committing to a more semi-permanent change like a drastic cut or a braided protective style. A newbie to the wig game? Trust me, you aren’t the only one. This was actually my very first wig purchase (aside from the halloween basics), but I think this was a very naturally looking wig.

It is synthetic, which is way more affordable than human hair, but you can’t put much heat on it. This brand is Bobbi Boss hair and on the packaging it notes that you can use very low heat, in case the ends are bent and whatnot. I got this hair at my local beauty supply store, where they have all different types of brands as well, but if you are interested in getting this particular wig it’s the Yara Bang, color 1B. Their website is here.

Some pieces of advice: try the wigs on. I was sold on a curly wig before I tried it on and as soon as I put it on my head, I hated it. If it’s your first wig, go the modest route. I say this because I care. Wearing an attachment to your head can take some getting used to. Don’t complicate it with funky colors you’ve never worn before.

I was feeling very inspired by some flowers I came across on my lunch break. They were breathtaking and I wanted to create an eye look to mimic it. Spring time vibes are in full effect. A quick tutorial is up on my YouTube channel and posted down below so please subscribe!
